Negotiation Pattern Language?
Welcome! It is great to have you as a reader.
I created the Negotiation Pattern Language as a framework for professionals and curious generalists alike. The problem with negotiation advice is not that there’s a shortage—there’s too much of it. It contradicts itself constantly, and both sides are usually right. Built on case studies, expert books and the hundreds of deals I’ve been involved in, the NPL fixes that by giving all of it a place and using a shared vocabulary to reason about it.
Artificial Intelligence is a wonderful technology and I make full use to assist with research and analysis—but I don’t like bad writing any more than you do. Practical applications and tools get simpler, more straightforward texts: I assume its readers want to get straight to the ideas. Essays and other texts written for reading pleasure get more time and attention and more layered writing.
Every day is a school day, and your feedback and suggestions are very welcome. I look forward to exploring the world of negotiation with a smart, critical reader like you.
Stefan
